The Ivory Room exhibits about 200 sculptural pieces of archangels, Christs, virgins, saints and a prayer room. These religious works represent the art developed in the overseas Eastern colonies of Spain and Portugal, from the 16th to the 19th century, recording an important chapter in the history of art between America and Asia.
This exhibition has been possible thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Lydia Sada de González and her son Tomás González Sada, and it places Nuevo León in an important place in the international museum circuit.
