Visit the Serdan Brothers House. Mexican Revolution Regional Museum

The museum locates in the house inhabited by the Serdán-Alatriste family, to which belonged: Aquiles, Carmen, Natalia, and Máximo. On 1910, the family joins the anti-reelectionist movement, led by Francisco I. Madero, who called to the armed uprising against Porfirio Díaz on November 20th of that same year. On the 18th, the plot is discovered by the police and in this house took place the first battle of the Maderista Revolution. On 1960, during the administration of the President Adolfo López Mateos, the house was acquired by the Federation and turned into a museum. It opened its doors on November 18th, 1960. As a part of the celebrations for the centennial of the start of the Revolution (2010), the house was restored and the museological approach was renewed.
