Foro Shakespeare



REVIEW

Shakespeare Company. It was Héctor Fuentes and the members of the Foro Independiente de Actividades Creativas, A.C. who founded the bookstore specialized in theater inaugurated by the playwrights Sergio Magaña and Víctor Hugo Rascón Banda in 1982.

The forum is born out of the necessity for an alternative space for the commercial and subsidized theater. Nowadays, the Foro Shakespeare is a non-profit civil association that supports projects of social impact like the Compañía de Teatro Penitenciario en Santa Martha Acatitla (Santa Martha Acatitla Penitentiary Theater Company). The forum supports foundations and associations that generate real social benefits.
