Feast of Images. The Color of Identity

The exhibition is made up by photos of the faces, customs, traditions, and everyday life that come from the native peoples of Mexico, all of them are elements associated to the use of their languages, which aim to raise awareness among the spectators through the feelings transmitted by the images.

Organized by the Culture Secretariat of Mexico City, the exhibition presents 58 photos that aim to generate knowledge, reflection, and appreciation for the huge cultural and linguistic diversity of the country, in order to acknowledge and appraise the richness of the multiculturality of the native peoples through images captured by the sensibility of the photo lens.

It is a part of the commemoration of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development of United Nations, which will be celebrated on May 21st.
