Ivana, Clara, and Marina are three youths who live in Sarajevo at the same time under very different circumstances. Ivana dreams of moving to United States, Clara works on the nights to pay her school, and Marina is in love with her best friend, who is about to move. Each one battles to achieve her objectives in face of difficulties of a conservative social system that considers differences as dangers. Filmed entirely in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with non-professional actresses and under the production of the influential Hungarian director Béla Tarr, the debut film of the Mexican Sergio Flores Thorija, it represents an intimate and restrained glance towards the contemporary reality of the Balkan country.
