This workshop examines different social problems related mainly to discrimination in Mexico from a critical gender perspective. Rather than a theoretical approach, the elements will be proposed to analyze the representation of the "other" in different contexts, from the daily life and work to the media, advertising and art. What is sought is to help to detect the ways in which discrimination and gender violence are normalized, in order to dismantle them and propose constructive responses.
