House of Count Rul Museum



REVIEW

Old house of the Count Rul, building attributed to the architect Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras that dates from the 1800s. Considered one of the purest examples of the Neoclassical style in Mexico. It has 10 exhibition halls in which are exhibited plastic works by José María Velasco, Dr. Atl, Diego Rivera, José Chávez Morado, Luis Nishizawa Flores, Feliciano Peñoa, Olga Costa, Luis García Guerrero, Jesús Gallardo and Javier Hernández "Capelo". There are also large-scale oil and ink landscapes, made by the Mexican artist Luis Nishizawa Flores, who adopted Guanajuato landscapes to his works.
