Cueva de la Olla is located within the social context of Paquimé, the Mogollón culture; it shares architectural features according to the region and chronology, such as the T shape pattern doors and the cast adobe constructions. The builders must have been villagers who established a system to have a community profit; an archaeological evidence of this is the large barn built to remedy the need to store food during winter.
