The exceptional archaeological vestige of the urban ensemble of Paquimé, bears eloquent and abundant witness to an important element in the cultural evolution of North America, and in particular to commercial and cultural links with other pre-Hispanic communities.

The extensive remains of Paquimé are clear evidence of the development of the adobe architecture in this region, and in particular the blending of this with the more advanced techniques of Mesoamerica.
