Central Library of the State of Hidalgo



REVIEW

The Central Library of the State of Hidalgo was inaugurated on May 17, 2007 and it is built in a 4,560 sq meters area. The modern construction was designed by young architects from Pachuca. It can attend up to 700 users and it is one of the most modern and functional public libraries in Mexico, and top-notch in the services it provides.

Named Ricardo Garibay in homage to the renowned writer from Hidalgo, the library has a collection of more than 65 thousand volumes arranged in the two floors of the modern and comfortable building divided in nine collections: general, children’s, didactic, silent, Braille, multimedia, newspaper library and Hidalgo Fund.
