REVIEW

The Teaching Center for Foreigners (CEPE) is an educational entity of National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM); it was established by José Vasconcelos on 1921 with the mission of: “Spread the knowledge of the Spanish language and the Mexican culture to the world, as well as to give academic support to the Mexican communities in the exterior”.

In order to accomplish its functions (teaching, research, and promotion of the culture), CEPE has different branches in Mexico, as well as in United States and Canada.

The main branch of CEPE is in University City (CU), in Mexico City, where it offers intensive courses of Spanish, and courses on Mexican culture and studies related to history, art, and literature.
