National Museum of Mexican Railroads



REVIEW

The National Museum of Mexican Railroads, opened its doors on May 5, 1988 on the premises that belonged to the Mexican Railway and the Mexican South stations, in the city of Puebla and since then it has been dedicated to the rescue, preservation, study and dissemination of the history, technology and culture of the railroad. As a result of its work, today shows and holds the most valuable assets generated by the railroad, making it one of the most important of its kind in Mexico and Latin America.

Upon admission to its extensive facilities, visitors can admire the beauty and majesty of steam locomotives, electric and diesel power, freight cars and passenger coaches of different classes, times and places, as well as the equipment and tools used in the different branches of railway work.

Through exhibitions, publications, lectures, congresses and meetings, the Museum promotes the dissemination and research on the railroads and work permanently in communication and educational proposals that promote the rapprochement of the different audiences to the rail network in an experiential, fun and participatory way.

Entrada Libre: Niños, estudiantes y maestros con credencial; adultos mayores y personas con capacidades diferentes no pagan. Los domingos. / El Museo cerrará el 25 de diciembre y 1 de enero
