Xolos, Travel Companions

Xolos, Travel Companions is an exhibition of the National Institute of Anthropology and History that aims to highlight for the first time the importance of the biocultural heritage of the Mexican dog races.

Through 117 Pre-Hispanic, artistic, and artisanal objects, as well as bone remains, it is highlighted the importance of the Mexican dog races as companions in life and death, from the Pre-Hispanic past until our days.

The exhibition has the curatorial work of important Mexican researchers as the doctor Raúl Valadez Urzúa, the doctor María Olvido Moreno Guzmán, the historian Roberto Velasco Alonso, MSc. Rosa María Sánchez Lara, and the art historian Eva María Ayala Canseco.

$60.00MX Tuesday to Saturday, Free admission for students and teachers with ID; children under 12 years and seniors with INAPAM ID. On Sunday.
