This photographic exhibition deals with one of the indigenous rituals that are inside the inner religious organization of the Yaqui that is the consecration of a Cantora (Singer), a person of the community of Pótam of the name Trinidad Molina and who develops her position in the community of Huírivis. The Cantoras are women of the community who go with the person in the position of forst master of church (or Yo’owe), who performs similar functions to that of a priest. He is in charge of organizing the prayers in the ceremonies before the celebrations of the patron saints or Sunday masses, or for the welcoming of the souls; also, presides over the songs in these an every religious ceremonies.
