A film based on the novel of the same name by Joanne Harris that portrays Vianne Rocher’s story, a single mother with a curious gift: she can detect other people’s desires and appetite.

It is 1959 and life in Lansquet seems to be calm thanks to the protection of Count of Reynaud, a Catholic man who doesn’t approve change and shift of traditional conventions.
