Come to discover the Museum of Anthropology and History.

The first room presents a brief vision of the general history of the State of Mexico through an interesting museographic combination of graphic elements and objects from different places and times. The room highlights the most relevant aspects of the Matlatzinca culture.

The colonial period is represented by a sequence of objects from the civil and military life, it also presents models of catholic temples built on the 16th century, religious sculptures, costumes, farming tools, and pottery of the time. Next, the independent life is exposed, showing images explaining the routes of the insurgent movement and objects such as coins, portraits, weapons, civilian and military clothes.

The last section is made up by the aspects of the modern life of the state, encompassing a period that goes from the 19th century up to a brief sample of the life and political works of the most important governors.
