REVIEW

In the site there are over 600 early engravings created on volcanic stone with anthropomorphic, zoomorphic, phytomorphic, and geometric shapes. Associated with these, large amount of pebbles were found, which seem to be the remains of an ancient river that flowed into this area.

¿CÓMO LLEGAR?

To go to the site take the highway Mazatlán-Cuilacán, in the kilometer 51 take the detour to the village La Chicayota (3 km. [1.8 miles]) where there is a dirt road leading directly to the archaeological zone with rupestrian engravings Las Labradas. The route from the village to the monument area is 2.5 kilometers [1.5 miles].
