REVIEW

Built on 1903, and rebuilt by José Refugio Reyes, of a Neoclassical style. The interior is made up by two courtyards. On the first, segmented columns on rectangular basis, arches reduced by sculpted arch stone; on the second, a work by José Refugio Reyes Rivas, has beautiful gardens and quarry stone fountains in the center.

Engravings by Francisco Díaz de León, paintings by Gabriel Fernández Ledesma, and works by Saturnino Herrán (the most painter of Mexicans and the most Mexican of painters), are exhibited. Along all year there are temporary exhibitions of painting and sculpture by renowned artists on a national and international level.
