Regional Museum of History of Aguascalientes

REVIEW

The house where the museum is lodged was built on 1901 by Refugio Reyes Rivas; it is an eclectic building, which means that combines different styles.

Its façade is Neoclassical, however, in its first courtyard, the arches are in a style called Art Nouveau; in the other hand, the chapel presents Neo Gothic features. This “blend” can be found in each column and space.

The precinct is one of the most important buildings of the city, because it preserves the traditional form of the houses of that age. One enters through the portal culminating in a fence, then we find a small central garden.
